NeuroScience Center Philosophy

Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary field of science at the frontier of investigation of the brain and mind. The study of the brain is becoming the cornerstone in understanding how we perceive and interact with the external world and, in particular, how human experience and human biology influence each other.

At Brookside Institute NeuroScience Center, we’ve gathered the leaders in neuroscientists from the U.S. and around the world to discover how human cognition (reasoning and logic) and emotion are mapped to specific neural circuitries – literally mapping our behaviors to our brainwaves and functions. And beyond understanding the connection between behavior and function, we are embracing new non-invasive and non-surgical technologies to change the areas of the brain that aren’t functioning normally.

We are committed to:

  • Setting the standard for excellence in the delivery of patient care, patient safety, and the quality of healthcare experience
  • De-stigmatizing mental illness in keeping with treatment, recovery, and prevention principles
  • Providing specialized services within a continuum of care together with first-line partners
  • Leading in the introduction of advanced knowledge and innovative methodologies for mental health care
