Why did Brookside Institute open the NeuroScience Center?

Brookside Institute has always been at the forefront of treating brain-based diseases and disorders such as substance abuse and co-occurring disorders including depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), ADD/ADHD and anxiety. We are committed to bringing the latest in science, medicine and technological advances to alleviate suffering from these diseases. Recognizing that neuroscience is the future for treatment of brain-based diseases and disorders, the Brookside Institute NeuroScience Center is dedicated to these exciting therapies.

Can I be treated at the NeuroScience Center?

You must be under the care of a physician who recommends one or more of the therapies provided by the NeuroScience Center. Most of the patients treated at our facility are seen at the direction and supervision of Brookside Institute’s Medical Director, Dr. Trung Thai, M.D. The patient’s Brookside Institute treatment team, including his or her therapeutic staff, work closely with the NeuroScience Center to provide a comprehensive, integrated treatment plan.

Will my insurance cover the treatments at the NeuroScience Center?

Some of the procedures may be covered by your insurance carrier, while others, known as “off-label” uses of approved medical devices ordered by and supervised by a physician, may not be covered.
