Addiction Treatment In Newport Beach, California

E. Keith Owens, Director
Calling upon more than 40 years of senior executive experience in the healthcare and insurance industries, Mr. Owens founded Brookside Institute in 2002, after several years of conducting extensive research of substance and alcohol abuse treatment centers throughout the United States. Mr. Owens studied the history, operations, development and regulations of opiate treatment centers for ten years. During this time, he studied the work of Dr. Joseph Volpicelli of the University of Pennsylvania; the Beck Institute; Dr. Richard Rawson of the University of California Los Angeles; Dr. Daniel Amen and his study of brain functions through SPECT scans; along with the pharmacological work in addiction with several pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Owens developed and refined Brookside Institute's innovative protocol, creating a science-based medical model using Naltrexone, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brain Wave Analysis, Medication Management and Adjunctive Therapies.
